"Loss occurs whenever life is different than we want it to be."

When loss occurs, we often do not have the tools to deal with it in a constructive or healthy way, whether it is our own personal loss or whether it is a loss experienced by someone we know.  Each human being will experience a loss sometime during his/her lifetime.  Loss and Life Transitions workshops help develop skills for dealing with life's changes.

Some of the types of losses that are addressed in Loss and Life Transition workshops include:

§       Divorce/relationship loss

§       Death of spouse, child, friend, relatives, pet

§       Accidental death,  murder, suicide

§       Victim of domestic violence

§       Long term incarceration

§       Loss of health: personal health, close family member,  dementia
